Chapman Education
Small Group College Coaching
If you (or your student) would benefit from having a coach, guide and resource to rely on who helps mitigate some of the stress and pressure high school students face regularly these days as they become college ready, our high school college coaching program may be for you!
learning Portal
As a member of our cohorts , you will gain access to our coaching program resources and online learning platform (our coaching curriculum is available via Chapman Education’s online learning platform.) Students will have a resource library, assignments to complete monthly where they receive feedback, and an opportunity to connect with coaches through the portal regarding specific assignments.
Texting Hotline
Each student in the grade level cohort, along with one parent, will have exclusive access to the Chapman College Coaching Cohort Texting Hotline. This service is available throughout the year, offering direct and timely support.
11 Monthly Meetings
There will be a live meeting via Zoom monthly, which will be recorded and available in the student’s learning portal for the duration of the course. At the conclusion of the school year, students and families will have the opportunity to opt-in for the following year or have a folder with their completed materials sent to them.
College Coaching Topic areas covered: Topics will be grade-level appropriate
Our college coaching service guides students through the college search and application process by providing students with an understanding of the college admissions landscape and what colleges are looking for in candidates. From considering academics and extracurriculars, to goal setting, time management and pursuing passions, there are so many aspects of the college prep experience that seem daunting for students, especially when the vast majority of students are told not to even think about college until junior year! At Chapman Education, we believe in being proactive and that knowledge is power. Our program also teaches self-advocacy, community building, self-reflection, and planning for the ideal college experience and future goals. This is a program that was conceived of by our founder but that could not be built without the students who were instrumental in creating a program that would best support them–a program they would have benefitted from.
